Don't send your kid there.

Most of us don't like going into the attic. However; this is a great time of year to do a quick check and see if there are any surprise leaks or water stains. If there are leaks the last few months of rain should make them visible. Some areas of an attic are difficult to view because there is not much room to move around. Please don't send you kid up there to take a look. Give me a call instead. I'll check those hard to reach areas and I'll even use a thermal camera to help identify any areas that may have moisture infiltration. If you insist on sending you child up there at least give them a flash light.
